Descriptive Information
  • Field marks: "Heads many, stalked, of yellow disk and ray florets. Heads usually borne on 1 side of hte floral branches. Inflorescence a club-shaped panicle, often leafy at the base. Leaves alternate, smooth, elliptic, entire, somewhat flesh. Stem leaves numerous, sessile. Uppermost stem leaves reduced, linear, lying close to the stem. Basal leaves long and wide. Stem stout, smooth or nearly so."
