2003 PROJECTS
- ADRA Nepal staff development
- Provide scholarships for two ADRA Nepal employees to attend Andrews University's MSA/ID off campus program.
- Scheer Memorial Hospital staff development
- Provide scholarships for three SMH employees to upgrade their professional skills.
- Banapa Iinstructors Project
- Provide salaries for six instructors.
- Cleft Lip and Palate
- Provide funds for 6 cleft lip/palate corrective surgeries.
- Scheer Memorial Hospital Outreach Clinics
- Provide funding to cover the cost of conducting four outreach clinics per week.
- Nepali Orphans
- Provide funding to cover the cost of food, lodging, clothing, medical, schooling and supervision for three girls whose mother was killed by a terrorist's bomb.
- Women's Literacy and Vocational Training
- The George Combe Memorial Home is a shelter for abused women and their children. GEM will provide funds for the children's schooling and literacy/vocational training for the women.
- Sierra Leone Project
- Provide scholarships for employees of Masanga hospital and the Sierra Leone mission to upgrade their professional skills.
- Ile Ife Hospital Project
- Provide funding to upgrade Ile Ife hospital.
- Scheer Memorial Hospital medical assistance
- Solicit funds to cover the cost of medical treatment for patients who are unable to pay for any or all of the medical treatment they receive at SMH.
- Ile Ife Hospital medical assistance
- Solicit funds to cover the cost of medical treatment for patients who are unable to pay for any or all of the medical treatment they receive at Ile Ife.
THIRD PARTY PROJECTS
- Baldwin Park
- The Baldwin Park project: funds raised by Dr. Scott Leon for medical and educational projects in Nepal.
- George Combe Memorial Home
- The Combe Home project: funds raise by Drs. Sherry and Prakash Shrestha to fund a home in Nepal for abused women and their children.
